L'île de Cat Ba est la plus grande des îles de la baie d'Ha Long et la seule île habitée. C'est de là que nous sommes partis en croisière, et nous y sommes restés une paire de nuits après, manière de se reposer un peu à la plage. Les habitants de l'île vivent essentiellement de la pêche et du tourisme - comme vous verrez dans les photos nous sommes allés faire un tour au marché des poissons très couleur locale.
Cat Ba island is the largest of the islands in Ha Long Bay and the only one which is inhabited. It is from Cat Ba that we departed on our cruise, and we stayed on there for a couple of nights afterwards to make the most of the beaches there. The inhabitants of the island make a living from fishing or tourism, it is a popular place with Vietnamese tourists at weekends. As you will see from the photos below we went for a wander to the local fish market, lots to see.
